INTRODUCTION

Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) are jointly organising an India-Africa Hydrocarbon Conference & Exhibition in New Delhi, on November 6-7, 2007 .

This would be an exclusive platform for all the stakeholders to pursue their interests at the business and policy level. The event comes at a time when the Indian Government and the private sector are making forays in the global market and are investing significantly in the hydrocarbon sector in Africa.
